Today I felt great had a ton of energy so I felt like I would kick it in HIGH GEAR and go for a 8-8:30 min/mi pace. I'm running in Corona CA in my sister's neighborhood so I don't really know the area very well but I sure did bring the Garmin and found my way around for a bit UNTIL....a lady flailing her arms to get my attention to tell me there was a coyote up ahead. I decided to abort and take a new rount and found myself in uncharted waters. While running I found myself daydreaming of the FRIENDS episode when Pheobe Buffet decided to run CRAZY in central park....like this women I encountered about the Coyote. It's Safe to say I ran a bit further then expected after I found my way (I wasn't lost for sure) but did run an 8 with a 8:56 running pace! Plan to keep shaving off the minutes as time goes by :-)

Welcome to the blog! That is crazy about the coyote...eeeek!

Which half marathon are you aiming for? If you are up to 8 miles you will tackle the distance easily.

Hey Thanks for the Welcome Rachelle!!! I am training to see if I can make it up to 13 miles before I decided which 1/2 marathon to do. I'm not sure if I should aim for sooner or later...Thanks for the encouragement!
